One of the poorly covered stories in the UK media, is that of the trail of the Ukraine national, Serhii Kuznietsov, in Germany, charged with the demolition of the Nord Stream pipeline in 2022.
One of the remarkable aspects of this story is the scant attention it has attracted in the UK media.
Why? By rights, this should be headlining news!
German Federal investigators state that Kuznietsov, a former Ukrainian special forces officer and other Ukraine nationals were involved, and used forged passports to rent a 15-metre sailing yacht named the Andromeda from a German port, using the vessel to transport and plant military-grade explosives directly onto the pipelines.
Another Ukrainian officer, Volodymyr Zhuravlev is currently detained in Croatia, awaiting extradition by Germany as an acomplice.
Initially western media blamed Russia, when Ukraine was the culprit.
